It's called CYA. Cover your a**. These are all probably the result of some lawsuit. Or, the legal departmetn of the companies said to put these on there so people couldn't sue if they are injured by using the products in an unsafe manner.

These are 'funny' but what is your point. Someone has to justify getting a paycheck to write stuff to put on labels. All it takes is for one person to complain to the Windex people that they sprayed themselves in the eye to generate a lawsuit so why not be prepared to have a customer service rep clearly say, "Sir/Mam it clearly says do not spray in the eye so bugger off."

The warning about keeping 'the bottle' away from the child could be worded better but most intelligent people can figure it out. Peace - - - and I love the avatar.

It's a game called, "Stump the Tort Lawyers". It keeps them from suing a company for not adequately explaining the hazards of the product or putting clear warnings on the label. That such warnings are needed, however, IS a sad commentary on human idiocy. Every one of those warnings is the result of some damn fool doing exactly what the warning says DON'T DO and being harmed by it. Instead of taking lessons in how to think, they sue the company, get gazillions, which dwindle to thousands after Uncle Sugar and the lawyers take their cut.

And that, children, is the REAL reason your products cost you so much more. YOU'RE the ones paying for those idiots' early retirement and their lawyers' Bermuda beach condos.
