Is it O.K. to give left-over food of human's consumption (which is usually salty) to dogs or cats ? Will it cause their hair drop? How about food that have sugar content? Is it O.K. for them ?

I don't know about their hair falling out, but no, this isn't good for them. A bit here and there won't hurt, but dogs and cats should only get table scraps that are not processed, salty, sugary, fatty, or greasy. These kind of foods will certainly make their coats and skin yucky if they eat a lot of it.

If that excludes most of the table scraps at your house, you might want to think a little more about what you're putting in your own body too! :D

Salt is really bad for cats, their systems don't process it like ours do, I had a siomease cat that died from urinary problems due to salt. His favorite food was olives. I don't know for sure about dogs, but my sister in laws perents have a small breed dog that is like 15 years old and they feed her table scraps all the time, I don't think she even eats dog food. Just remember to give your pets lots of fresh water if you are going to feed them table scraps because it will make them thirsty.
