This is just something I was thinking about while washing the dishes and looking at a map....
Seeing that the majority of America is white, and generally hailing from England/Ireland or other places in Europe, I was wondering where Americans would head in evolution. See, there's a reason those in europe are white in the first place: lack of sun over the years simply caused them to pale.
Yet when I look at the U.S., it is further down in latitudes, on an equivalent with Africa. When I see British tourists, I always notice their skin tones are considerably lighter than the average Americans, who has adopted a pale tan, though in some cases even more extreme.
Case in point, do you think that we will continue to develop darker hair colours, eye colours, and skin tones as our generations progress? I might have to say it, but do you think the white american, seeing that all nationalities are evolved from the same african origin, will in 2000 years.. become black?
Haha, thoughts?
Americans and human evolution...?
Don't do it! don't click it i mean.
I think in a long, long time everyone will be black, or dark skinned, because skin color is dominant. Haha that might not be why but i still think it will happen.
Americans and human evolution...?
Never thought about it.Unlikely that it is. But it's a nice thought. If all humans are going to be black it woulds stop the colour hatred that goes on now. Only thing, there will always be something to hate each other about.
Americans and human evolution...?
USA is a melting pot. Europeran Immigration to US is declining in comparison with the rest of the world. Latino Population (both legal %26amp; illegal is growing rapidly). White's population is declining. So the first question is who is condisered American now?
If you just look at the Eoropean ancenstry American you would find our skin being more tan. Yet if we move back to Europe our skin would become pale eventually.
Evolution takes more than just few generations to take place.
